Jasper came to Abbey Cats as one of the kittens taken in from an overcrowded northern shelter..
He came to his foster home with 3 other kittens- most likely his siblings.
Jasper is very active, the most playful kitten of the group, he never gets tired of playing.
He is also great at eating all his food and then stealing some from his siblings (he eats wet and dry).
Right now he is the heaviest of the 4.
Jasper also enjoys being petted... when he is sleepy he'll try to take the best spot on a lap, he also likes licking you.
He is in a foster home consisting of his foster mom, her husband and their resident cat Maki (4 years old).
Due to covid, they are home all the time and are able to provide the kittens with a structured schedule that consists of food, play and snuggle time.
Jasper needs to be in a home where his family can dedicate him time to play.
He can play by himself but he prefers to have someone to move the feather toy for him, he also loves springs... plush toys not so much because they don't move by themselves.
From the group he interacts very well with Dempsey who has a similar energy level and appetite, they play together all the time.
They would love to be adopted together.
Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company. Any kittens over 6 months may need the company of another young cat.
