Melody

Melody was surrendered at age 5/6 months with her mum who was nursing two 3-week old babies.
She came to her foster's home solo, and has melted their hearts ever since.

Melody is an absolutely lovely young cat.
She is very human oriented and always curious about what her foster parents are up to, often sitting beside them on the couch or observing closeby whatever they may be doing.
She is super gentle, especially for how young she is, and very much likes to lick and groom her foster parents when she is feeling cuddly and loving.
She is getting much more used to being held and even beginning to enjoy it for a few moments before mewing cutely to be put down.

Melody's name suits her in that she loves to sing!
She is a chatty gal, and will always greet her foster parents with high mews.
She is unafraid of the vacuum, actually quite intrigued by it!
She has a little stuffed penguin toy that she loves to chase and will carry around the house in her mouth.
She has lots of energy and is very agile - she is lightning fast chasing her string toy!

Melody would do best in a home with another friendly animal - ideally a young cat who can help entertain her!
She requires frequent play and stimulation as she is really just a kitten!
Her foster parent's introduced Melody slowly to their 6y/o resident cat and she has been very curious and gentle.
We feel she could do great with kids or a busy household.

Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.
